"Service with a smile!  Both the regular crowd and staff here are chatty,  polite,  and welcoming!
They offer a breakfast plate called "Morning Glory";  a sunny side up egg and hollandaise sauce that my wife and I absolutely love!
For lunch, they absolutely NAIL the classic sandwiches.  I regularly visit for a ham and cheese sandwich.
Finally, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the mocha / espresso shakes,  delicious coffee flavor in a shake that puts a would-be lovechild of Starbucks and Culver's to shame!
We come here every couple weeks in the summer since there is an awesome off-leash dog park nearby and we can eat outside on the patio with our pupper!  I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a meal near the ice-age trail; bikers, dog walkers, joggers, you name it ~ you'll find relaxation here!
This is a hidden gem at the outskirts of Janesville; STRONGLY RECOMMEND!"

"What an unexpected find in tiny Afton. We decided to go there because it was close and we have a certificate to use from restaurant.com. coffee was great and the weather was nice the deck looks like it would have been great place to have it. But being November we stayed in. They have original artwork on the walls you can buy. We ordered breakfast special which was good. Plenty of food. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is for such home cooking restaurant we were shocked to reserved a bottle of generic maple syrup flavored.  My breakfast partner and I both looked at each other when the waitress at it down and commented on it. Both thinking the same thing. Why on earth would you have such a nice cafe with home cooking and then not serve real maple syrup? We did order some of the homemade pastries which looked fabulous. They were as delicious as they looked. I had the rhubarb pie!"
